Shipping and Delivery
All furniture is shipped directly from our warehouse on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. All products are professionally packed and not typically in a flatpack (except some timber items that come with legs removed).
We use a variety of furniture freight companies to deliver across Australia. Based on the value and weight of our furniture we utilise experienced furniture freight companies and this may take 1 to 3 weeks to ship from Melbourne depending on your delivery address in Australia.
To ensure costs are minimised the furniture is typically delivered by the driver who may require assistance with heavy items. Please note, delivery is not 'White Glove' and does not include unpacking and/or removal of packaging. If 'White Glove' service is required, please get in touch for pricing.
Shipping
All shipping (including free shipping promotions) apply to CBD and Metro areas of Australian capital cities. For regional and remote areas across Australia, please contact us via chat to check on applicable rates. Note if you put your order through but your location is outside CBD/Metro, we will contact you to advise additional shipping fees applicable. If additional fees are not acceptable, a full refund will be provided.
Free shipping is not applicable to international orders.
Returns, Refunds and Warranty
All items are carefully checked and packed before they are dispatched, however in the event you request a refund, return or exchange please read our returns policy below:
Returns for Damaged Goods
Please check goods upon receipt and advise us if there are any issues immediately. Please send a photo and details of product fault or damage to sales@sissonne.au.
Credits or replacements can be arranged for damaged or faulty goods on a case by case basis as long as we are notified within 7 days of receipt of your product. Once a return is approved we will arrange a pick-up where possible. In the event of minor damage to furniture (eg small dent or scratch) Sissonne reserves the right to have the furniture repaired to original condition where appropriate and viable.
Please note that the majority of Sissonne’s products are made from natural materials which gives them a unique look and feel. Naturally occurring variances in the product such as wood knots, minor cracks in timber and colour variations are part of the character of the product and are not deemed as product faults.
Change of Mind Returns
Please take care when ordering from our website, as we do not offer a refund or exchange for any change of mind or your error when ordering. In the case of cancelled orders, a 10% re-stocking fee will apply.
Defective Goods
Sissonne will accept product returns and provide you with an exchange voucher, refund or repair where:
- The product is faulty or is not of reasonably acceptable quality
- The product cannot perform the way promised
- The product is significantly different from the web description and image
- Sissonne has been notified within 7 days of receipt of product that it is defective.
Once a return is approved, we will arrange a pickup and replacement, repair or refund as appropriate. Proof of Purchase will be required.

Warranty
All items carry a 12 month manufacturers domestic warranty (excluding fair wear and tear). If you are purchasing any of our items for use in a non-residential environment or where products are to be used within a commercial setting (eg Hotel, Rental accommodation or Reception area), please contact us to discuss the suitability of the product for use in a commercial installation and/or for commercial purposes.
The Warranty does not cover products which have been damaged in transit,
misused and/or exposed to extreme conditions. It also excludes damage to third party property; any removal and/or installation expenses associated with any warranty claim; and any transport or freight expenses associated with any warranty claim.
All claims must be made through sales@sissonne.au. Sissonne reserves the right to investigate all claims to assess the nature and cause of any alleged fault. Based on Sissonne’s assessment, Sissonne will have sole discretion in determining an appropriate level of refund and/or return.
