About Us
Sissonne was founded in 2024 by Sally Jones and Sarah Palmer, who united their expertise and passion for design to redefine outdoor living. After leaving a demanding corporate role and following several property renovations in inner-city Melbourne and on the Mornington Peninsula, Sally was inspired to pivot her career and focus on her love of bespoke furniture and design and the idea of Sissonne was borne! Sarah, a skilled interior designer, had worked with Sally on several of her properties, providing design insights and vision throughout their collaborations.
Through their extensive discussions, Sally and Sarah recognised a gap in the Australian market for high-quality, outdoor furniture capable of withstanding the harsh Australian climate.
